Industrial Hazards and Accidents: Hazards and disasters, landslide hazards and disasters, flood hazards and disasters, forest fire hazards and disasters, effects of natural hazards on economy & development, chemical and industrial accidents, natural hazards: causes distribution consequences and mitigation measures for. 

Controlling Environment Pollution: Introduction, objectives, air pollution, water pollution, land soil pollution, noise pollution and radiation pollution, controlling environmental pollution, effects of water pollution on the environment and human health.

Fire Prevention and Protection: Introduction, objectives, how fires spread, detection of fires, alarms, fire watching and fire extinguishing systems, fires in industries, fire in tall (high-rise) buildings, fire in assemblies, fire in shop and business premises, maintenance and testing, fire damaged buildings.
